I tried using it for a bit, but the admin panel just feels old to me. The settings don’t let you change as much as I was hoping, and even simple tech things took more clicking than it should. I kept trying to set it up how I wanted, but it was not really going there.

From what I remember, I spent a long time waiting around for support to get back to me, and when they finally did, I still didn’t really get a useful answer. It just felt like I wasted my time and didn’t come away with any actual help

Trying to manage my domains here felt way messier than it needed to be. I expected it to be quick and simple, but instead it turned into this little maze of confusion. Not the end of the world, but definitely more frustrating than it should be.

Canceling wasn’t really a problem, and I did get my refund in the end. But the whole process felt slower than I expected, especially with support taking a while to respond. Nothing went seriously wrong, but something about it just felt a bit off.

The hosting itself was okay, no big issues there, but the contract and billing details didn’t feel very clear to me. I ended up noticing some extra charges later on, and trying to cancel was more confusing than it should of been. Not the worst experience, but I wish they were more upfront about everything.

The pages load so slow most of the time. I was just trying to browse around and it keep taking forever, which got frustrating...

I really wanted to like it, and it seemed decent at first, but setting it up was such a pain. Maybe I missed something obvious, but it felt way harder than it needed to be. I got annoyed, tried again later thinking it would be fine, and then just gave up.

I did not expect email hosting to stress me out this much, but using strato.de for email has been driving me up the wall. Messages show up late, some seem to vanish into another dimension, and the spam filter feels like it’s just flipping a coin every morning. I had clients swear they sent me important stuff, and I’m sitting there refreshing my inbox like I’m defusing a bomb.
Support didn’t really help either. They took ages to reply and mostly gave me the kind of basic answers you’d expect from a troubleshooting sticker on a router. Maybe Strato is fine for simple website things, but for email? Absolutely not. I can’t keep gambling with client messages like this, so I’m moving away before I lose my mind completely.

At first the prices looked really cheap, which is what got me interested. But I’m always a bit worried about getting fooled by deals that look too good to be true, and that’s kind of how it felt here. Once the renewal prices and extra costs came up, it didn’t feel like good value anymore...

Looking back, my site seemed to go offline way more often than I expected, and I remember checking it a few times only to find it down again. The uptime just didn’t feel reliable to me. I also reached out to support, but from what I recall, they weren’t all that helpful in getting things sorted out.
